Inquiry Based Learning

What is the one thing that post offices, government institutions, schools, colleges and all corporations have in common?
Why, a stamp system of course!
As simple devices that are made of ink and a specialized imprinter, stamps form the basis of any organization’s insignia. Without the existence of a stamp, the recognition of an organization and its related documents would barely be in coherent form! As symbols of work etiquette and any organization’s trademark, stamps are an equally important part of a 3rd grader’s curriculum, and we at Butterfly Edufields ( Bridging the Learning Divide ) aim to make a student’s job easier by making learning interactive, fun-filled, practical and inquiry-based!

In the Making a Stamp kit for all 3rd graders, your child will learn the following concepts:

How to use a mirror to identify symmetry in shapes.
Your child will learn the rules of basic symmetry.
Your child will learn how to make symmetric stamp patterns and learn how make their own       stamp pad
They will play an interesting interactive game to solve the smiley symmetry challenges for practice
The Making a Stamp kit consists of the following four activities:
1) Finding the symmetry of stamps using a mirror
2) Solving the challenging and interactive Smiley Symmetry Puzzles
3) Making a Stamp
4) Making imprints using a stamp
With the provided material, your child will understand the stamp, its structure and its function right from the basics! The Do-It-Yourself nature of this project encourages students to think independently, out-of-the-box and critically. A crucial trait of being a noteworthy contender in the 21st century industry is the important characteristic of being innovative. With our hands-on and inquiry based learning methods, students will definitely improve and broaden the scope of their thinking skills by developing a participative, interactive and more harmonious relationship with education!
